I was born in Zimbabwe. my mother was always into alternate ways of treating me through acupuncture, massage and chiropractic manipulations. She kept us healthy through a good diet, exercise and meditation. From young I always wanted to help people heal. I started my massage career in 2001 and fell in love with the industry.
My goal for my clients is to create a balance and harmony in their lives and make them feel respected and fulfilled when they leave. Massage is very personal, each person is different and every therapist has a
different approach. Your first time can be exciting and nerve racking all at once.
To make your experience as enjoyable as possible, I will explain to you what to expect on your first treatment.
Your job after that will be to let me know if at any time you are uncomfortable. Anything ranging from the temperature, music, pressure of the massage or the energy in the room.
This is your massage not mine so voicing your request is important! You deserve the best.
Feeling tender can be expected with deep tissue massage, please don't be alarmed, the tenderness decreases after each massage you receive, and can last up to 2 days.
Massage can bring up emotional releases, so being gentle to yourself with a bath in Epsom salts is a great way to relieve tenderness and just relax into what ever comes up for you.
Please don't hesitate to call and let me know if anything is troubling you after your massage.
The modalities I use are all integrated and not one specific modality is used at once:
Swedish: Swedish massage uses five styles of long, flowing strokes to massage. The five basic strokes are effleurage (light touch), petrissage (kneading), tapotement (rhythmic tapping), friction (compression), and stroking.
Deep Tissue: Deep tissue massage is often recommended for individuals who experience consistent pain, are involved in heavy physical activity, such as athletes, and patients who have sustained physical injury.
Lomi Lomi: Lomi lomi is the traditional massage of Hawaii . As an indigenous practice, it varies by island and by family. Lomi Lomi practice by Kahunas (healers)
It integrates Physical, Emotional and Spiritual, mostly forearms are used and Lomi Lomi means to Weave, its a beautiful technique.
Reiki: It is administered by "laying on hands" and is based on the idea that an unseen "life force energy" flows through us and is what causes us to be alive. If one's "life force energy" is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy.

In my Northern life, I was not at all interested in
health care as a career. I worked in manufacturing. If someone had told me that
I would be helping people through the use of Massage and Reiki I would have
said they were crazy.
When I moved to
the Fort Myers/Cape Coral area I quickly realized that my manufacturing experience would do me no good at all so I
had to rethink my options. I was able to find a part time job as a receptionist
at a natural health clinic in Fort Myers.
I became very interested in all of the ways of healing the body
naturally. The Dr. there suggested that
I try Massage Therapy. I wasn' t sure
that I wanted to go in that direction, so I contacted the Massage school for
some information. They gave me a tour and my first massage. I floated out of there and thought I want to
make everybody feel this good. I was
hooked.
I graduated from Heritage
Institute in Fort Myers, FL, and I received my license in Massage Therapy in
2005. I also studied Reiki under the direction of Reiki Masters Neil and Karen
Kagan in Fort Myers and was certified as a level three Reiki Master in 2009. Since then I have also added Reflexology and
Ear Candling to my menu of treatments. My goal is to help people with their health
needs using non invasive, natural therapies.
When you come to me, I will listen to your needs and apply the best
technique for your situation. My hope is
that you find your experience with me relaxing and satisfying. I look forward
to helping you achieve better health, balance, and harmony in your life naturally.
